Before starting to make the cake batter grease a pan with non stick cooking spray. To make the cake start with the egg whites. Put them into a bowl and beat them until they are well mixed. Using an electric mixer beat in the applesauce, the milk, and the vanilla. Add the cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, baking soda, and both flours. Add the pineapple and mix well. All the nuts and mix well. Add the raisins and also mix well. Put the mixture into the greased pan. Bake for 35-40 minutes at 350 degrees.

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Put the butter in a bowl. In a separate bowl mix the flour, baking power, and the sugar. Add 1 cup of the liquid from the peaches and the milk. The batter should be smooth. Put the batter over the melted butter. Add the peaches overtop. Bake for 35 o 40 minutes until the top is golden.

  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1tsp baking soda
  • 1tsp salt
  • 2tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup chopped dates
  • 3 cups rolled oats

With an electric mixer beat the butter, sugar, and brown sugars. Add the eggs one at a time. Add the vanilla. In a separate bowl mix the flour, wheat flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Add this to the butter mixture. Add the oats as well as the dates. Cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate 1 hour. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. With cooking spray grease a baking sheet. Roll the dough into balls. Place on the baking sheet. Flatten with a fork. Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
