Whether you want to get a salad or a chicken breast on the grill it can do your heart good to eat a well- balanced diet. To develop healthy eating habits isn’t a major deal or as confusing as people make it out to be. The secret is eating healthy foods that are made from plants and to try and stay away from foods that are processed. You need to eat different good food groups and the right portion control. The five main food groups are whole grains, fruit, vegetables, protein, along with dairy.
Eating a healthy recipe means to consume the right amount of food from all groups to lead a healthy life.

A well-balanced diet
A diet means what foods we eat in a 24 hour period not necessarily as a dietary regimen to try to lose weight. A good diet with a nutritional lifestyle that has good health is a good diet but it must include several food groups because a human can’t provide everything just from one food group.

If you are like my family when it comes to grilling we don’t pay attention to the weather. We just grill, rain or shine, my husband has even grilled in the snow.

Chicken Breasts
Listed below is a great recipe for chicken breasts on the grill:
Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat.
1/4 cup cider vinegar
3 tablespoons prepared coarse-ground mustard
3 cloves garlic, peeled and minced 1 lime,
juice of 1/2 lemon,
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt ground black pepper to taste
6 tablespoons olive oil
6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
Using a large mixing bowl add together the cider vinegar, mustard, garlic, lime juice, lemon juice, brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Then whisk in the olive oil. Put the chicken in, cover and marinate overnight or at least 8 hours. I use aluminum foil to cover the chicken and of course put it in the fridge.
Put some oil on the grill grate very lightly. Then add the chicken to the grill and cook for about 6 to 8 minutes or until the chicken is done. The juices will run clear and it should be tender. Throw away the rest of the marinade. This is so easy to fix and all you have to do is throw a salad together and you have a meal and a healthy one at that.
